The Chamber of Commerce is both similar to and distinct from its economic development counterpart organization. While there is significant overlap in the two organizations’ goals and duties, the Chamber represents the combined interests of its local members, promotes tourism, and spreads the word about what it’s like to live in the area, among other things.
